Bismi.org is a resource for anyone looking to learn more about American non-profit organizations that have an Islamic focus. The hope is that Muslims looking to donate funds will come to Bismi.org to research what sort of giving options are available. It is our hope to increase giving to Islamic charities in the US. We strongly encourage charities to submit the form below. Upon review, submissions will be added to the database as soon as time allows. Before submitting your information, please note that the following requirements must be meet before your organization can be listed:

Your organization must be a US registered charity with 501(c)(3) public charity status from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Your organization must provide services to others outside of worship. Mosques are not eligible for inclusion on Bismi.org. If you are looking for a place of worship, please consult Islamic Finder, an excellent service that list Mosques around the US and Canada. Also, Muslim Student Associations are not listed here. For a list of MSAs, please consult the National Muslim Student Association's Web Site.

Your organization must be listed on the IRS list of tax-exempt organizations or on GuideStar.org. If your organization recently received its Letter of Determination from the IRS and is not listed on either of the above listings, then feel free to submit the form below and then fax your letter of determination to 1-801-705-0986. Organizations that cannot be verified will not be listed.
